This small shrine is located between the second and third pillars of the first two rows of the mantapa behind the Chitrakutamantapa in the south-east comer. It is not possible to say when this shrine was built There is one inscription on the inner side of the north wall of this shrine dated in 1308AD. and it may be inferred from this that the shrine might have been built during the reign of one ofthe later members of the Yadavaraya family.
