Devotees should meditate the five holy alphabets, recite the sacred names of the Lord, sing divine songs and go round the shrine.While going round the first corridor, Amravati Vinaya on the south-east, Villa Vinaya on the south-west, Nirutha Ganapati and Muthukumaraswamy and Chandikeswarar on the northwest must be worshipped.While going round the second corridor, the devotees could see a statue of Thirumalai Necker in the east, kola mandala and Koodalkumarar sennight in the west.After worshipping Kumar, the devotees should proceed to the second corridor of Swami shrine.
It is the normal practice to seek the permission of Nandi Perumal to grant permission to enter the temple. After that the Anagni Vinaya and the Nandi at the main entrance to the Swami temple.After that the devotees should proceed along the six pillared pedestal and worship Chandrasekhar and other deities and the Nataraja at the Velliyambalam and then worship the Lord at the sanctum.
While going round the first corridor of the Swami temple, Vandhiyammai, Siva lingam, Sun, Kalaimagal, the Saints, Somaskander, various Linda’s, Pitchadanar, Kasiviswanathar, Ella Villa Siddha, Durga Amman, Kadamba tree,Kanagasabai Nataraja, Chandikeswarar, Atcharalingam, Mahalakshmi, Rathnasabai Nataraja, Vanniyum well, Lingam and Bhairava should be worshipped in that order before coming out.
Having worshipped* the deities including Sadayappar between the Nandi Mandapam and coming round the hundred pillar hall, Agni Veeraputhira.’, A hora Veerapathirar, Oorthuva Thandava Morty and Badrakali. And then after paying obeisance to the flag pole, they should sit down for a while. Later the idols of Hanuman, Krishnarand other deities on the pillars at the back and then enter the middle way and leave through Amman Sindhi.

Temple Timings: Morning 5am to 12.30 noon and 4 pm to 9.30 pm.
