This is the place where the famous last Dasa in the tradition- of Dasas who were aparokshagnyanis, SriSeshadasa, who was considered an incarnation of Arjuna, had propitiated his assigned guru Shiva and attained the aparokshagnyana. There is a temple dedicated to swayamvyakta Srinivasa. At this very place, Ganga river had appeared at the feet of Srinivas, at the request of SriSeshadasa. There is a temple dedicated to Ganga- devi even to this day. People find solace from problems of being possessed by offering seva to SriSeshadasa.
