Late Srimathi Bhairvajosula Seshamma, the wife of Mahanandaiah thought that Mahanandi Kshethra is a devine place for the Saivas only. So she constructed a temple of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy in the north-east side of Sivalaya, established (stayed) the statues of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy, Lakshmana Swamy, Seetha Devi and Veera Bhaktha Hanuman with white marbles. The brightness of life is manifested in the statues. She rendered her services and surrendered her property to the temple. In this way this place Mahanandi Kshethra is a sacred place not only for Saivas but for Vaishnavas also.
